A MECC Minute:Happy Friday Everyone!!!! We had a great week this week! The weather was Awesome! We finished setting precast walls and plank in the secondary arena, for now, and moved to the lobby and Convention Center yesterday to set wall panels. Masons were here for one day laying bearing block for precast. Ironworkers are setting joist and deck above the mezzanine in the area of fitness rooms. We have continued with site work, building ponds, and setting storm structures. Our power and gas to the site are still in progress and if things go right will be in place next week! Due to COVID-19 issues and Deliveries, we are about one week behind where we hoped to be on our schedule. This week we also hosted the Virginia High School Engineering class to the site for a tour. They were a wonderful group of young adults and were very excited to learn about our project. Enjoy the photo that they shared with us! Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
