Wellness Center Management
The City of Virginia has announced a request for proposals for the management of the Wellness Center at the Iron Trail Motors Event Center. Proposals are due by 10am on Wednesday, June 30th, 2021.
Fill Our Frames Submissions
The Fill Our Frames campaign runs through July 16th.
We invite all artists and photographers to participate. Our Design team is looking for all different mediums of art to be considered for display in the Event Center portion of the facility.
Submitted work should adhere to the following guidelines:
Art and photo submissions must include nature, landscapes, or architecture with a focus on the Iron Range – with consideration of what makes the Iron Range area unique and special. All submissions must be between 8 inches and 10 inches and 15 feet wide and 8 feet tall. Selected photos may be edited for graphic design, and artists will not retain the rights to their photo or art submissions. All artists and photographers will be recognized for their contributions. Submissions should include the artist name and contact information (email and/or phone number). Artists should include information about their piece, and if submitting a photograph its location. Additionally, a requested stipend amount for contributions is required if a stipend is desired. Artists and photographers will be contacted if your artwork and photograph is selected.
To enter your photo or artwork, the City of Virginia asks that you submit your photos and/or artistic concept to brians@virginiamn.us by July 16 2021 at 1 PM using the subject line: “MECC Artistic Submission”
